How Twil Tex Started
Twil Tex began in 2004 as a family-run textile business in Khurrianwala, Faisalabad, the heart of Pakistan's textile manufacturing belt. What started as a modest, locally rooted operation has grown into an export-focused sourcing company working with buyers across four continents.
Today, Twil Tex is led by Founder & CEO Usama Zafar, who brings five years of hands-on experience in Pakistan's textile export industry to the company's day to day operations, from supplier relationships on the factory floor to managing international buyer accounts directly.
Twil Tex now runs an active partner-mill network across Faisalabad, coordinating production for buyers in the UK, USA, Europe, and Spain, with the Netherlands opening up as our newest market.
Manufacturing Model
Twil Tex operates as a textile sourcing and production management company. Rather than running a single factory, we coordinate production through a network of partner mills across Faisalabad, each handling weaving, dyeing, or stitching depending on the order, with our own team managing quality control at every stage, from raw material to final random inspection before shipment.
This model lets us match the right mill to the right order (a hotel's bulk bedsheet run needs a different setup than a small private-label towel order) while keeping one accountable point of contact for the buyer.
